it was more than 2-3 lenghts
The horse lost the lost at the start.....it was too much to ask / make up to run into the money
It was running on well to finish mid field
Hopefully the next run will be better

whether LYFORD CAY wins next time or not..is not the point here...the question that remains to answered is,howcome does the official stipe report say the LC lost 2-3 lengths...are they blind...or just inept....
i remember a few years ago backing a horse in pmb....from 20/1 into 14/10....dennis drier was the trainer...it was the last race on the card...and i heard(CANT BE CERTAIN)that the stipes called in the trainer before the race to say to him that if the horse won...he would have to explain the the improved performance of the horse..because on its first run ,it ran 20+ LENGTHS behind the winner on its debut..and this was dennis's remark....u can question nothing ..because if u did your job ,u will see that it was reported that it DID NOT ACT in the going....but it was not printed in the stipes report.....these are basic and necessary requirements as part of their job description....why is nothing being done about their inability in doing their jobs, because to a serious punter their information is vital when punting a horse
