That is exactly the problem. When it comes to voting they wont change their vote. Not because they dont hink they will be better off voting for someone else, but becasue there is really nobody else to vote for. To be honest, SA politics is a joke. We need to follow in the footsteps of the USA and UK and get rid of these half arsed partys. Have 3 or 4 parties and thats it. It will make the decisions easier for the voter and the parties will not be viewed as black and white parties as they will have to combine in order to get the ANC out of power.
As much respect as i have for Helen Zille and what she has achieved the chancesof her becoming president are zero. If the DA were serious about standing against the ANC, they need a strong black man to lead their party. It isnt rocket science to knowhtat the majority of uneducated balck people that make up 70% of the voting power will never vote a white person back into power regardless of how bad things get.
