ALGOA CUP

I hear talk of the Algoa Cup festival being postponed until 23 Nov due to a waterlogged track at Fairview.Can't move to Arlington as not suitable facilities for the race day?More rain forecast in PE this week.....Shams or anyone confirm what I have heard?

Decision going to be made tomorrow,not looking good...

Just had massive downpour in PE from 7 pm to 8 pm Saturday, measured over 60 mm in
my rain gauge in Walmer during that hour. My front yard is completely under water, and
the rain shows no sign of stopping. Arlington for Monday is surely a no-go, and Fairview
must be much worse off.

The problem is that we have had so much rain in PE in the last few months that it simply
does not drain away and lies around in pools for days.
