yes its a pity to see him go.at least he did his homework, got the info from trainers on wellbeing of horses and always asked trainers abt chances of there other runners later on.i guess powers that be dont want the punters to hv this info which is so vital in a centre like kimberley where form often means nothing.
sad day for our racing and yet another step in the wrong direction.when will they ever learn?

Sad this has happened........the giggler will be missed. Management should be looking at themselves and make a couple of hard decisions.....even if you freakin step down!!!! Alvin was doing a better job than most.........and i'm talking about any racing centre. Ken, you read these posts, but never comment. Surely 100's of posters can't all be wrong. Open your eyes and start making the smart decisions. You are losing good employees and keeping some silly employees on board!

Alvin was really nervous when he started out but once he overcame his camera nerves, he was first class - can't think what the logic behind this is. One thing I have learned working for a corporate is... It doesn't mean just because something is obviously stupid or wrong they won't do it anyway. They also very much like to save costs at the bottom so that the fat f@*%%#'s at the top can pay themselves even bigger salaries and bonuses.

bottom line...tell us who "THEY" are that thinks he is unpopular...but am i am surprised to hear that u base your decisions on popularity...rather it should be based on work ethics and the job at hand......many a staff of mine who are good..are unpopular with the rest....this is so because the 'rest"...ARE SHIRKERS and get exposed...so theerfore they make the good ones seem unpopular....u dont need to go to HARVARD business college or obtain an MBA.. to see common sense....and we will continue to lambaste your decision, until u respond and tell us otherwise..or if there is another side to this story

They have no case and Alvin can contest hands down if based on popularity!!!!!! The only thing Rod is popular for is brown nosing Ken! Cos there is no other reason he should even be allowed on a race tract never mind in front of the camera.

Sorry to hear about Alvin. As mentioned maybe it is because he did his homework and as I mentioned on another thread they do not want that this. Maybe if Damagement would give their side there might be more understanding, but no treat their CUSTOMERS like mushrooms (keep them in the dark and feed them on sh--). Maybe their stratergy is not to have COMPETENT presenters as that may highlight their (Managements) INCOMPETENCIES because the consensus is that TT is disgrace for RSA Racing.
Alvin there is always the CCMA. As you have got the support of the majority on this site maybe you could use that to disprove the 'popularity issue.
