Tragic for such a talented rider to succumb to this dreadful disease. Are retro-virals not effective, I wonder? R.I.P.

I believe they are effective

the article on tabonline ( www.tabnews.co.za/headline-news/death-of...a-blow-to-sa-racing/ )
says that he had stopped taking his anti-retroviral medication.
