Hunters shoot sleeping Rhino. Disgusting cowards!!!:X

Did anyone see the news last night showing" Trophy hunters" shooting a Rhino sleeping under a tree. You could have walked up and poked it with a stick! Sickening hearing it crying out as it was shot by these F..KING cowardly hunters. Makes me furious.:X

Disgusting, enjoy this species while you can cause at this rate in 20 years time it won't exist...

These were "hunters" but only after the horn. I am completely against all hunting unless where they have to cull and then it must be done by experts. not the run of the mill public. Seen buck lying with there leg shot off because of some idiot who cannot shoot straight. What pleasure does it do to a person to see a beautiful animal dead or dying in front of you. As I said cowards. Go shoot a moving target if you want but leave the animals alive.

In the mid 80's in Zimbabwe the late Sally Mugabe organised bounty hunts against rhino poachers.

I love hunting and see myself as a conservationist but Craigs experience gives the industry a bad name.... You can't label all hunts into this catagory, most are well organised and the hunter normally has to prove his competency in front the landowner... Failing to do so that person will not be allowed to hunt on his farm. I also do not, and have never partaken in a hunt where the meat is not used for the pot.

I can understand there is a need sometimes to hunt animals,for food or to cull numbers. To me to look down on this beautiful animal who until 1 minute ago was resting, eating, caring for its young or anything else with a bright eye and full of health and now it is bloodsoaked/injured sometimes and in pain or mercifully dead with its eyes glazed over in a death stare, just because some call it sport, my heart bleeds for it! You cannot justify it in my books. Nature needs a hand sometimes but leave that to the professionals. 1 animal injured and not killed instantly with 1 shot is one to many!:X

Do yourselves a favor and watch the clip from ETV. Listen to the sound that the Rhino makes once it is shot.

This type of thing is indefensible.

Hunting is soo last century, not sure what the thrill for the shooter is ?? As for poachers doing it purely for monetary reasons should be maximum penalty, life.

DISGUSTING ,NO person, not even a hunter can put up with this type of behavour.
