Winners - 8
Win % - 12%
2nd - 10

Win/ Place % - 59%

In Comparison to other top trainers

Winners - 50
Win % - 24%
Win/Place % - 62%

Mike Azzie
Runners - 121
Winners - 27
Win% - 22%
Win/Place % - 67%

St John Grayson
Runners - 148
Winners - 23
Win/Place % - 61%

Cliffie Miller
Runners - 96
Winners - 12
Win/Place % - 61%

So when looking at this, Win/Place % puts the top five like this

1. Mike Azzie - 67%
2. Mike de Kock - 62%
3. St John Gray - 61%
3. Clifford Miller - 61%
4. Paul Lafferty - 59%

Laff is fourth in terms of Win/Place % and looks likely to have another winner on Sunday

Someone can verify stats for me.

Laff has had 22 winners in 2012 so far

Laff had 11 winners in 2011

He had 25 in 2007

21 in 2008

27 in 2009

20 in 2010

I still rate Miss D. Her comeback has been excellent.

This one is BURNS.

Happy to say that I had a huge influence in bringing him up from the Cape.

Mike Burns is an excellent assistant and I would assume that so are all assistants. The point I was making is, the stable seems to have turned around and their Win/Place % is among the top four in the country and proves that their horses are doing well and worth following.

all stables go through good and bad runs so lets hope that if and when pauls yard does dip the owners stay loyal and dont jump ship...as far as assistants goes pauls previous assistant was by far his best and his name is byron vorster
