I really fail to understand the reasoning - maybe they want to make sure that Turffies is in the best possible condition come next week - but why have the bloody meeting starting so late - last race off at 17:50 - if there is any holdup during the day we have no chance of getting to the last (or are they planning to get some okes with lanterns and torches to provide some light); why not start earlier and try and finish before the late afternoon showers ?
