Thats going a bit far ,Burn in Hell...
Im also struggling with the racism tag,please tell me is it because she used the word Indian or Diwali..
If someone said to me Englishman i dont like christmas, it wouldnt bother me one bit.
Id be more annoyed with her for wanting me to be broke

I fear that this has all gone just a tad too far. She was wrong in the way she worded her rant but what has happened afterwards reflects just as badly on the individuals who wrote it as on the script she penned.

We are all on this earth for such a short while......better to make love than war imvho.

Personally, I think this lady's comments are been blown out of proportion.

What, has been lost in the new South Africa is respect for someone's space.What. I mean by this is that if I move into an apartment block occupied by let's say 10 other people, then I WOULD have to live by the rules of the other 10 occupants, or else I should not move there.


I cannot and should not , buy a place simply because I can and then show disrespect, to those who have been there before me.

So, why has the lady vented her frustrations.....her peace and quite is been disturbed, because of inconsideration, in the name of freedom.

And religious beliefs should be expressed religiously, in peace and quite.... NO NEED TO LET THE REST OF THE WORLD KNOW ABOUT YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. ARE YOU DOING IT FOR YOUR OWN ENLIGHTMENT, OR , BECAUSE THAT IS HOW IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN DONE

Agra with all due respect to you and the Hindu/Tamil people of SA, she has been punished enough. Her actions have led to her being publicly disgraced with many going over the top with their comments against her. She was stripped of her title and will always be remembered for what she said, despite her apology.

Her modelling career is basically over, she is young,naive and ruined. How much more misery must be handed out to her ??

We as Indians sometimes get carried away with stuff like this, her comments were childish and out of anger - Do we not make racist remarks ? We are no different from her, we just know how to keep our thoughts intact and don't go on public outbursts on social platforms.

We must move on from all this crap and rather focus on whats important in our lives.

With you on this one Punter...There's a saying "Don't put your mouth into motion until your brain is in gear" and this is just about what has happened to the young lady.
She has retracted her comment and apologised...let her learn from her mistake.
By the way...how does her comment make her a racist????? ...and I'm not a white person if anyone wondering...rather I'm a parent who is aware that it could easily have been one of my boys mouthing off about an issue (fireworks) that they feel very strongly about given the trauma that it causes to our pets.
The lady linked this to the Diwali celebrations without thinking...young people do things without thinking it through very often.
