And a good double at that too!! Not talking about the liquid stuff us teetotals but the excellent trainer/ jockey feat at the Vaal when Mannie Malherbe brought home Approximate and then Brave Princess for trainer S.M.Ferreira. There was no shortage of support for the 1st timer Approximate and being by Miesqes Approval one would have been inclined to believe that the distance was on the sharp side but the manner in which Approximate raced up with the pace and then drew away in emphatic fashion was simply exhilirating. It's good to see the money spot on the button and we wish the stable more success with the small string that they race.

Stanley Ferreira is a master at getting his runners ready first time out. I have been following his stable for the last year or so and he had quite a high % of first time out winners.

Good for him and I hope they got the lotski!

Without coming down hard on anybody but you know Christmas is around the corner when trainer H Adamson and Jockey S Swanepoel recorded a double on 13/11/2012 at Turffontein under the lights.

At any price 100/1 up the first bomb fell when It'sgottobeme got up to win race 2 on the card. Not to be denied, the stable dropped another nuclear when Afterburner won race 6 narrowly at odds of 50/1 up.

What odds the double, I hope they got a piece of that pie, even e/way could've been very tasty.:)o

Watch out for the double today, not at those prices but see both horses for that combination going close.
