Today's racing personality of the day award must definitely go to KZN presenter Deez Dayanand for tipping the winner of the 1st race against the strong Charles Laird trained and Anton Marcus ridden favorite.

However, it was his courage in giving the horse in the 1st leg of the Pick 6 as an absolute banker, that really only a brave man on national TV can do, and I am sure that many of the punters in the totes appreciated the confidence you gave the public.(tu)

and here certain clanners were the other day calling him an absolute idiot and a disgrace to tellytrack for not tipping FFC in his predicted quartet....disgusting

Hope today's tipping can shut all those up with big mouths and shallow pockets who have a go at TT presenters who get things wrong now and again..because guess what, they human...

in the wise words of mikesack himself: "Please Deez stop being a big brass"....only a couple days ago...

Bushy I don't want to read your negative comments about my post on Dees as I think I am entitled to my opinion on the subject.
Likewise I don't want to remind you about your posting on Cavlitsa as I did not call any poster a brass for their opinion.

Teletrack presenters are people in the media and as such should expect to encounter criticsm. But don't take my word for it,just ask Mollet, Neil P , Cecil, Julie, Rod etc.

Although the 1st principle of Dale Carnegie is the 3 C's. Don't criticise, condemn or complain sometimes it takes just 2 C's to have people C the light ; Constructive Criticism.

And Dale Carnegie also said, Be hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise.

If my calling Dees a brass in any way benefitted some punter today, then don't thank me, but the presenter himself.

Guys to be fair....On a regular basis Deez finds a good 1!!!!And if he brassed a fav than he had his reasons.Surely ALL of us have brassed a fav on some point and it backfired!

and as for Cavlitsa....i told the clan way way WAY before its first run, told a certain few even in February this year about the horse and it's ability...i am here to share and guide fellow canners whom i am in contact with on a daily basis, i am not the trainer of the horse, not my problem things have gone south since then with the horse/stable

exactly heinrich, which is why i said in the previous thread that i thought the slating of Deez was unjustified based on one bad tipping selection in one particular race...which is why i am shocked by this new thread

I will still press "mute" for all the presenters BAR ONE................the petite little lady from Cape Town.She will definitely blossom into a great presenter / on course tipster with time and mentoring.

In my opinion presenters shouldn't tip

I have always enjoyed Deez as a tipster, he always looks for value what I appreciate, gets feedback from the trainers and if he fancies a horse strongly he lets us know. He does get it wrong from time to time like the rest of us as this game can.
