I think she may have enough natural speed to overcome that draw. She is a runner imo.

With good draws favouring MDK any idea as too when scratchings will happen or do we get caught out after our bets are struck and scratchings happening late in teh afternoon today???

Everything against her, won't be the first 4 imo.

Guess it depends on how good she is Greggo, you could well be right.

I'm going to give her a chance as I think she is good. Good horses overcome bad draws.

Can anyone tell me how the law of scratchings work? If I nominate a horse for two races and after acceptance of both I decide the second one is easier for my horse can I scratch without a 14 day suspension? Imagine horses in maiden races scatching because the race they are in a week later is easier for them

The Summer Cup was moved to the 1st December and threw a spanner in the works..I think that there was a compromise made due to the change....

So rules were bent to suite some??

The same thing happened with Kolkata a few weeks back where he accepted at Scottsville and Turffontein on the same day.

if slaapstad didnt have this barrier draw after acceptance story none of this would have happened...i understand using it perhaps for bread and butter races but for a group one race pathetic....
