Joao Moreira showed his true brilliance in Hong Kong when winning their Jockey's International tonight. Winning the first leg riding from the front and the last leg coming from 2nd last. Well done Joao!!

Moreira is the best in the world and down to earth guy, I got to meet him when we had miss d running in the same race as his ride boogie with cher! He was friendly to all the punters and not like some of our jocks who snub the punters when greeted.

Yes Joao rides in Singapore tomorrow (it's a 12 race card and a day meeting - Vesak Day) and then flies to the States in the evening. He'll be riding Judy the Beauty in the G3 Winning Colours over 1200m at Churchill Downs on Monday as well as some unconfirmed rides on Saturday and Sunday at the same venue. He'll be back in Singapore next Wednesday and be ready to ride again on Friday. Sure he will do as proud as always!
