i quote his comment from the sportingpost website..we are not looking for beautiful hedges and beautiful horses we are looking for competitive races that will make us money........thank the lord these bastards arent in charge of english racing they would have scrapped half the races frankel won...

Phumelela share price has risen 10% or so in the last few weeks. How are the stakes doing ? Looks like from the comments about beautiful hedges the stakes that hold up the young trees could also be in the firing line.

But if you are watching racing from the second level of the grandstand you tend not to see the issues at ground level..
