cant please everybody last year the building was full maybe 1500 people, nobody on the ground floor this year about 4500 people in total at least we are trying to get people back to racing

never mind the charities that scored no mention of that

The structures for SUmmer Cup Day only started going up on Monday the 26th of November. Those were the platforms and stages between the beach track, and the Inside racecourse. This is NOT on the racetrack itself. The structures put up on the Inside track itself, were only put up on Thurs/ Friday. They were removed on the Monday after the races were over. So not quite 10 days. I am here at Turffontein every single day - so FH you are exaggerating. I hardly think 3 extra meetings will cut the track badly at all, considering what excellent shape it is now.

Nope. But people who sensationalise things make situations worse, not better. Makes you realise that you've got to dilute FH's posts by at least 50% before you can give what he says any credence...

This is very sad... I hope the girl is going to be ok. I'd part with the stake I had put on her initially, just to make sure that she will be alright. Shame.

That was Miss October and she did the same previous start ... exceptional speed considering how quickly she is up with them and will be interesting if she ever starts on terms.
