liverpool football club
12 years 5 months ago
last weeks performance away to West ham - was excellent.
Team seemed to want to win, even shelvey! Bt today, what a shambles,
we're does the blame go to nw? Brendan rogers,
after watchin the documentary 'bein liverpool' seems a very honest hard workin manager,
its a shame really. all those loyal fans clinging to the fact they we're once super powers
of the english game, its a sad sight.

How many of these players would make the United, City, Chelsea or even Everton starting 11...
Joe Allen...(td)
Jon Shelvey...:)o
Jordan Henderson...(
)
Stuart Downing...
and how do you go into a season with only 1 striker...:S
to sum it up Liverpool are shit and Brendon Rogers may be a ''nice guy'' but he is in too deep imo....

yes speaking from my pocket that useless mob cost me my exotics,my all on and my respect for liverpool.never again will i back them,or banker them, even if they playing in a cup game against a non league team.i honestly thought they hv turned the corner after there come from behind win against west ham,but clearly that was just a flash in the pan.lol.they clearly need to hv a clear out sale and get rid of some of the useless players at the end of the season.s gerrard should be the 1st to go,followed by their keeper.

Arsenal
Liverpool
Newcastle
Chelsea
These 4 coaches must be all on very thin ice.

Guys we are building this season
Joe Allen 22yrs
Raheem Sterling 18yrs
Jordan Henderson 22yrs
Jonjo Shelvey 20 yrs
erratic results are expected but Brendan Rogers is a good manager and will get things right
1 striker is a problem but he was right to send Carrol out on loan
Kenny's bad buy, injured and no goals to show rather let west ham pay his wages

Problems have been there a long time and were made beautifully worse with the wasteful spending by Queenie. The club is in a mess. New man comes in, gets them playing vastly more entertaining football relatively quickly, goes on an 8 match unbeaten run (I think) and then because they lose one game to a currently much improving side (who also thrashed the long unbeaten Norwich 4-1 away in midweek) people start saying he is sh1t and should go. I agree entirely with GB, whatever his intention, it was very naive leaving himself with only one striker. However, LFC fans need to face reality. This guy is trying to bring them out of very deep mire and it won't happen very quickly. No huge funds available and no great current team to work with. He may succeed or he may fail but give the man a proper chance is my opinion. Judge him in 4 years, not 4 months. If Queenie were still in charge then LFC would probably be battling to stay in League Two in 4 years time, at least with Rogers they should avoid plummeting to those depths. LFC fans wanted Queenie for reasons I have never been able to fathom, they got him (by getting rid of a very competent manager in Roy Hodgson :S ) and now they are paying the price.

Pretty football does not win matches as can be seen, possesion is great but you need confidence and scoring ability in the last 3rd of the pitch, sad when you have to resort to defensive players scoring the goals. J.Allen a kak buy, obviously Rodgers' boy and could lead to his demise. I don't believe all the players are as bad as the MU fans make them out to be, the Reds results against MU speak for themselves, confidence, a bit of luck WILL result in an improved league position. Remember Rome was'nt built in a day. YNWA !!!!!!!!!!
