"Nag Me" type service now in SA

Not sure if there will be a viable market for this sort of service as it is restricted to SA racing only :S

Nagme works already on saf racing

Is this not the guys who ask me to pay my debts?: They been around for years...

have emailed the service but at this stage have not received any response ?

Hi George,
Thanks for your inquiry, regretfully we are still in the process of building our website and are hoping to have it up and running in the very near future but it would seem that the IT world goes into sleep mode at this late stage of the year .
The service we are offering is a sms and email notification when any horse that you are following is nominated, whether you are a punter or an owner you will be kept up to date with this horses every move,when the horse is nominated you will be advised of the course distance and draw of the initial field and once the final acceptances are confirmed you will be advised when and where the race is taking place along with the draw and riding arrangements..
To give you an example:-Your sms notification will read "Follow The Piper nominated~you have mail" and the email that will accompany this will read as follows:-

Please be advised that this only the nominations stage once the final fields and riding arrangements are confirmed (19th December +- 1 pm) you will be notified.

Our charges are R150.00 per horse per calender year ie 12 months from the date of the FIRST sms you receive for any of your runners, should a horse of yours be suspended for injury or any other reason for a period of one month or more you will be notified and you can replace it with another horse until your original runner is nominated again.

When I walk into a shopping Centre nowadays in SA they have that service as well.. these girls and guys come up to you with a pot of :S in there hands trying to get you to the stall and put some cream on your everywhere... I am told this is illegal in some countries <

Will it make my punting more profitable?
Nah!!! 10 horses will cost R1500 per year
My profit this year was only R1300:S

So much for punting for fun
If not for Gregbucks,Flash Harry,Magi,Tich, Davy Fowers and a few others...<
I should consider retirement:D
