No we don't use them. At about R400+ a pop, it's quite expensive. They can only be used once. I understand the theory, and if it does what they say it does, then it may work for horses with respiratory issues and/ or bleeding. They have had studies (published in Vet Journals) which have demonstrated that these nasal strips can reduce the incidence of bleeding, but not actually curb or stop it. I think for the smaller yards, this is cost prohibitive. I have other techniques and methods of achieving similar results. These, however, are my personal "trade secret"

Roy also does not use them - as mentioned they are quite expensive, and not proven to 'work' - I'm sure he has his won 'secret method' - each to his own I suppose
