interesting,, leads me to question

Why does Phumelela not promote Formgrids.com in France if it wants to promote awareness of SA racing ,,,??? here are three days of Formgrids stats from awstats

First visit 01 Jan 2013 - 00:00
Last visit 03 Jan 2013 - 12:07

Number of visits Pages
3468 565693

five hundred and fifty six thousand pages viewed in three days,, shows a big following ,,,,,

yet we havent been viewed for one second on Telly Track,,, why ????

everyone talks about formlines when the word was non existent in racing before Formgrids.com

Shaw and Maree both use Formgrids,, Clyde Sham winner of Phumelelas Champion punter compertition is allways on Formgrids,, Gary and Joe Soma second and third in Phumelelas Champion punter compertition live on Formgrids,,

International Trainer Mike De Kock said "Now that I am in Dubai I have been going on Formgrids, to study form back home, quite a lot...bloody hell it is really comprehensive... impressive and an invaluable tool to study with,,,,,

its been free to all the industry for eight years yet the establishment sidesteps us at the detrement of the punters that have got access to tv's and dont have computers,,, whats up bud ??????????

Fully agree with Mr A, another champion of the punter who has unselfishly provided the tools for punters, trainers , owners etc at little or no cost or self-enrichment so that at the end of the day, others benefit from the sale of pictures to foreign countries.

Or should I say racing in S.A. benefits from Formgrids? The tote pools in France are huge and will put our July day pools to sleep on an off-season meeting so there!!!

Mr A ,the whole of "P" management appear to be well paid puppets to do what they do best .......thoughtlessly obey orders.
The big clue is on the other thread ...........a defense (if it is to be believed ........and I believe it) is that the CEO of a division cannot determine his own budget for staff or ensuring basic working conditions..........what kind of executives are prepared to accept a position and manage under those circumstances..........deserve no sympathy if that is the case.....they are willing "Jaar-Broers" IMO.

The email below is from Graeme Hawkins, we are glad that he has without hesitation showed us support,

"Dear David

This serves to confirm that Gold Circle has no issue with you or Formgrids - on the contrary the service you provide to punters is to be complimented and is much appreciated,

Kind regards

Graeme"

Graeme is a racing man and understands the game, we have asked Phumelela for their views on us and are waiting for a comment

yes Dave we are, we support an industry/sport that belongs to a profit seeking gaming company that does everything it can to make as much profit as it can for shareholders,,, we think that we are helping the industry/sport by providing a mouthpiece and formguide free to racing fans,, yet we got to realise and accept that all the offical bodies in racing link back to a company that wants maximum profit out of racing,, so we are wasting our money and time by providing the sites we do free, we think we are helping the game but we are just costing ourselves,,,

@mister A: (Caps intentional!)

Can't we get similar mindset members together to set up a 'think-tank' to plan a strategy for the future?

For instance, right now, the industry is shut to any ars....h... (like you and myself!) that dares criticise it or make suggestions, and is deemed 'enemy combatant'.

Government does not know its toe from head (besides being too busy 'delivering' tenders to the few!).

Punters are being fleeced; trainers and owners are on the downgrade and the 'privileged' have already appointed themselves as spokespersons / protectors of the 'new autocracy'! We have noted that with the personal attacks on individuals and trainers 'not in the loop' by those who have certain owners as their patrons. They never made such vitriolic comments when they did not have these 'patrons'.... and were even nonentities! New bully boys and mafia brigade on the scene....Dick Francis! come back! Here's freshest fresh material for the bestest best-seller!

The NHA is totally engulfed by the operator .... after all, who pays their bills! Less said about the RA ....better!

As a group / body, we can then make representations, etc to whomsoever. Besides, since there are those who (understandably) are reluctant to come into the limelight, people like you and yours truly can be the 'face'?

What you say people? Hit them hard...huh?
