A punter won R893,466 on a fourfold accumulator from the Vaal yesterday!

Antigua (3/1) into Luala (9/2) into Approachable (5/1) into Balkis (4/1)


He staked R1,500 and his return after tax was R893,466!

What I would like to know is:
why can't TAB offer at least a Patent or Yankee?

One can take such a bet on the ATC, but it means a whole lot of combinations being sorted out.

Wow. Very unlucky for Sportingbet. The first decent bet they ever lay and it wins. Must have been a computer error that allowed the punter to put on more than 50 rand.

your calc correct, found it strange - also most bookies limit you to 100k max per ticket, was this one bet, one ticket

ODDS comes to 659/1 .... 659 x 1500 = 988,500 minus 6% = 929,190 + 1500 (stake) = 930,690 !!!
