Neither of these 2 fillies are going to Hollywood but don't leave them out of exotics as both Wayne and Sandile are trying to win.

Hi Mark,
Let me start with I LOVE Eastern Cape racing. You will see just last week I spoke on the forum about "the greed factor"
Respectfully I will not agree with that statement for every race a trainer enters. Generally YES off course " every trainer in PE ( actually in SA) is
trying to get winners" over a given time BUT what I would like to add to that is NOT in every race...some races the trainer is purely running the horse knowing that it will not win or even place for that matter and there is a multitude of reasons for this, but essentially to get a better price when it does run a suitable distance with a suitable jockey... this is a business after all and everyone is trying to make a buck.
I have also heard of many a trainers that does enter a horse to be a pacesetter to make sure the race is run at a true pace and know of many a trainer giving the jockey instructions for e.g. to run from behind when it knows the horse has a much better chance of winning going to the front. The Shams might be very transparent in all their horses trying but I for one certainly do not buy the argument that every trainer enters a horse in every race to win, one can just look at some of the no hopers entered in a race to see that that could not possibly be the case because surely that trainer cannot be that stupid to think the horse actually has a chance in that given race. Human behaviour is a wonderful thing... honestly I cannot accept that every trainer tries to win every race.

Looking at today's card some Pick 6 races all you need is 3 horses and you have the field. I am sure once again the Pick 6 dividend will be a fraction of the Jackpot.
