David Millar looked lost at the crease....Berhardien isn't up to international level....Tsotsobe is way below average.....you play a normal number 8 provincial bat to come in at 4.....all of this in a 1 off T 20 decider......all rather poor for a country with so much talent......

feel steyn, albie morkel, should get back into the t20 side and kleinveldt should move up the order he shoud make alot more runs batting in the powerplayin fact i dont see why they arnet doing this ab and klein should open the t20that would be fireX(

Guys, before you judge SA's batsmen, you need to admit Pakistan has some very good bowlers, which all the websites acknowledge and not only the websites. Ajmal is top of the ICC rankings for bowlers - SA have no-one in the top 10. Hafeez is 2nd best allrounder - SA have no-one in the top 10. Neither team has an ICC top-10 batsman.

Imho, where we suffered was in the bowling department. Our bowlers got smashed from pillar to post. A score of 190+ is formidable, and yes, most of the SA batsmen except AB got into a sweat over it and did stoopid things.

But if we don't put up with this now we won't have a strong experienced team come the next biff tournament. Simple as that.

I agree our bowling was weak - especially the spinners - Ontong bowled a couple of deliveries that my 8 yr old son would have been able to put away - Abbott not the answer in this moer and soek form either; team selection not quite right - Lions top the T20 log with 4 wins, but only one player in the team?

I also agree with dashing that on a flat pitch, Kleinveld should bat in the power-play.

On a slightly different note - I was at the game yesterday, and there were plenty of seats available on the main stand - and at R200 a ticket (also for kids) it does not surprise me - add R50 for parking and I was down R850 before a ball was bowled - and then add the beer(s), cold drinks, etc - R1000 for 4 hours entertainment for a family of 4 :

Wow, would have thought kids under 12 would pay at least half. Crazy what they charge. Look at the price of test-rugby tickets!
