JP will not be riding for a local stable, it is for Rashid Bouresley, the champion Kuwaiti Owner/trainer who has raided Dubai as long as MDK.
this is the same stable that Late Peter Dillon did so well for in Dubai, winning one of the Jebel Ali classics
Other SA jocks connected to this stable have been Deryl Daniels, Leon Govender and Aart van den Lingen
As Kuwait is not a registered racing authority, this trainer once had an 8 time winner run in a Dubai Maiden... Ran unplaced.
I once rode a 1200m for him at the old Nad al Sheba track and the trainer tied the horses gonads with a big elastic... he wanted to see how it would go as a gelding!!! Obviously the horse didn't go down well to post and was scratched as the vet couldn't get the strap off
A foot in the door as JP can ride light but he HAS to ride the Arabians if he wants to make an impact.
Look out for the Orange colours with black seams, grooms are dressed the same

I might be mistaken cos I never watch Tellytrack today. Is JP returning to Dubai for the new season 2013/2014 ? I think Greg was highlighting JP's talent and used this old thread when he was in Dubai in the begining of the year.
