Titch, I am surprized at you not even spotting the Beverley Hills hotel in the 1975 picture!....
The building at the bottom right of the picture was the Durban view hotel...........
Oyster box was next to the light house......and still is......

had a night spot back then called the Copa Cabana that was world class and you are spot on forgot about the Durban View..belonged to the O'Connor family that were racing folk if memory serves me right..

100% Ttich...Ken O Connor , also owned the oyster box...........Did you ever drink in the old Oyster box pub, around 1968/69/70?.......Syd Laird and a few of the lads used to go there after spending the day at John Marshall's tatts just down the road?.

Gene the Plumber??? LOL he has been a mate of mine since the year dot and his elder brother Errol was mates with my late brother Arthur Lightening who played 'keeper for Durban United and later trained us at Stella...and now I know who you are LMAO...last time I saw you you were at the course with him and you musta been about 9...

I am sure Cottonfields has gone or moved last time I went there a young lass with hot pants and a big pair of "Hooters" poured me a drink, Mrs S hates me drooling or dribbling so we had to leave early.
