Teletrack
12 years 4 months ago
Okay,
So i just got back from sunny (no exageration) South Africa
I watched Teletrack almost every day and i can now confirm the following.
IMVHO its a brilliant punter friendly service. The 2 betting shows at the bottom coupled with often a split screen above is heaven for the punter that plays all the time. From Launceston in Aus to Aqueduct the show just rolls on and on.
Where it FAILS is with some of the presenters, jesus some okes are really kak. Bon called MJ Byleveld (MJ odendaal) and there were many many other faux pas. Lithgow in the studio could not even be bothered to google a british trainers name.
So IMVHO i get it why most people want 2 channels , for me it made no diffs. I am not really bothered with the canter downs nor with jockeys and trainers thanking everyone from Allah through the cousins, the Aunty (zaki always thanks an aunty) the jockey, the groom, Nelson Mandela, the breeder, the stewards. Its ALSO ASTOUNDING THAT every single horse that WON over the last 14 days in SA WILL WIN again. They are all improving and "this is just the start"
So to watch teletrack you need the MUTE activated then its absolutely perfect.....

I have made peace with it. There is so many channels on dstv and between the wife, my laaitjie and me we watch about 20 channels on a regular basis. Sport, movies, National Geog, history, discovery, kiddies programmes and TT. My monthly fee is R650 divided by 20 = R32.50 is what it cost to watch TT in my case. I use the mute button all the time and only listens to race commentry. Not bad I think for +/- 30 race meetings a month.

What are you guys comments regarding the new kzn presenter Wesley in DBN ?
Imo the ex jockeys are doing a fine job in other provinces and the logical thing to do wouldve been bringing another ex jock on board! Guys like Mark Khan, Rene Bonham Brett Smith or even Cormacks wife wouldve been a coup for us!

I pay £67 for Sky for the entire Sky package which includes HD and 3D. I refuse to pay an extra £20 for the UK Racing channel because I get enough racing on At the Races and Channel 4 racing (all part of my package) I have no idea of how many channels I can pick up but I too only watch around 20 channels on a regular basis.
