Afcon 2013 get rich quick scheme

As in previous tornaments, I have been betting the draw and the no score draw all games. It is the nature of these tournaments where goals are at a premium and there is little to choose between the teams in the tournament.

Results so far reflect :-

6 Outright wins
8 Draws of which 3 are no score draws.

Worst group is Group D where all results so far are Outright wins.

The past is no guarantee of the future but given the tight nature of the groups the chances are we will see a few more draws.

Just a few observations for those interested.

Gajima well done with the draw strategy so far...(tu)

I would definitely look at the positions in the groups before wagering on the last games in the group stages, take some instance group B, Ghana favourites to top the group but either Mali or Congo will probably need a win to quality... I don't see either of these 2 teams holding back for a draw.

Quick update on the get rich quick scheme.

After group stages

11 Outright wins
13 Draws
4 No score draws

At average price of 7/1 for 0-0 draw and 22/10 for any type of draw about 8 points and 18 points up respectively.

Knock out stages next and extra time factor comes into play. From now on there should be no "weak" teams.
