STAR BSA GRAD LINES UP IN DUBAI FEATURE
Bargain BSA buy The Apache is one of 10 runners carded to run in the Gr2 Al Rashidiya, at Meydan this Thursday evening. The Al Rashidiya is an 1800m feature race, which will be contested on turf, and has attracted some classy international performers.
Trained by Mike de Kock, The Apache will be making his Dubai debut. He has not run since contesting the 2011 J&B Met.
Owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum in partnership with Winston Chow, The Apache was named Equus Champion 3yo colt in 2011. His 6 wins include the Gr1 Daily News 2000, and Gr1 Champions Cup – and he has won over R1.9 million in prize money thus far in his career.
Bred by Scott Bros, The Apache was a R80 000 purchase at the 2009 Emperors Palace National 2yo Sale.
By Storm Cat horse Mogok, the 5yo horse is out of the Dolpour mare, Apache Rose – who won four races.
