Position required
12 years 4 months ago
Hi fellow clanners - (with Mr Scot's permission).I am currently assisting my son in securing employment in the IT field. The young man has completed 2 years of his BCOMM -ACCOUNTING at UKZN - passed accounting 3 only in the third year and did not repeat the year due to financial constraints.Completed his MCSE / MCITP Microsoft course in 2013.Any assistance in securing contacts to which the CV can be directed to would be highly appreciated. The youngster has been in Gauteng for the past month trying to get a position and is currently in Durban doing the same.Once again thanks to Mr Scot for allowing me to use this forum for a non horseracing related topic.

The Duke, i sincerely hope your son is successful in seeking employment...(tu) ...my younger brother tried for over a year after getting his degree without success, he eventually decided to do an extra 3 months teaching course at Wits and is now teaching English in Thailand... Not exactly what he originally studied for but he needed to do something ...wasn't prepared to sit around at my parents house doing nothing....

Does he have a preference of province?
We have a few recruitment agencies we have ties with, i would be happy to send them his CV. Unfortunately the IT market is flooded.

I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

@ The Duke:
My nephew graduated with flying colours B.Comm and amongst the jobs he is being offerred are insurance, and marketing!
Since my sister is reasonably well off, I suggested he do his Honours, Masters, Doctorate.... then vamoose overseas!
BTW: No bursary/grant, all fees paid by my sister!
