Even within the context of my comment, I am not disparaging SP or any individual; in fact, I doubt if I ever was personal and vulgarly abusive to anybody intentionally.

Against the media blackout by P and its cronies, and the recent placement of horses within certain stables all over the country, besides people being 'appointed' 'cos of their allegiances (or neautralisng' them) I considered it reasonable to bring this to the attention of clansmen to ponder on.

I noticed that most of the articles on SP ('contentious') had a 'comments closed'; that's what gave rise to the suspicion or a response / clarification.

Besides ABC and SP, the racing fraternity has no other channel to voice its concerns. That remains a double-edged sword for the industry as they operate in a world of their own with blinkers; once the storm erupts, then they will look for scapegoats..... maybe too late!

In our country, we do have a unique situation as far as grooms are concerned. If not addressed, in time,there will be opportunists who will climb on the bandwagon.... and exploit for their own agendas (like Marikana).'

Umlilo, although I might not always agree with you in every post, I do believe that you make a very valuable contribution to this site. JD looks like he is in a bad/ stirring mood as he also has a go on behalf of the Cape trainers(again) against the PE guys this time, so you not the only one. Keep posting.(tu)
