I stand by what I said, more than ever. It's not hate speech, it's injustice speech because they don't remotely deserve your accusations and what I said is not libel, because it is true. Your opening lines on the other hand....?? You did not, as you say in reply, just word it badly. I still think you owe them an apology, privately if not publicly.
ET TU? SPORTING POST?
"et tu" is a universal quip indicating a betrayal by a friend. Not only, as you stated, has the Sporting Post been banned by racing authorities, they have been sued and bullied and abused along the way. But they have remained a constant friend to racing including the powerful, the down trodden and sometimes even the lunatic fringe. It is the product of a labour of love more than anything else.
You implication that the Sporting Post must be under some influence because they aren't banned or because you can't post a comment is disgraceful to me. It's apparent that the comment facility has a default set to "off" and it says comment closed under all the articles on the new site as far as I can see.
The Sporting Post is a newspaper that has not become some propaganda vehicle which could easily have happened if it were run by someone else. It's a damn shame that an enterprise can behave so well, and for so long, and still have this drivel aimed at them after 20 years of constant loyalty to us.
I wonder why you didn't just email them before you rubbished them like this? They have earned that much at least.

My maat, jy is een baie onstelde/ongelukkige mens. Ek praat nie eers so oor die 'bergies' wat in ons dromme krap nie.

The point is that there are too many posts that trash third parties that could surely be easily resolved with direct communication..........or at least by giving it a try!
The problem is that the operators and regulators won't engage or respond so we can't get answers from them but bookmakers and publications normally will.

Don't want to be neurotic to extend this thread; I sent 2 emails to SP.... both no response/acknowledgement. Perhaps, didn't reach them, virus, someone overlooked it, etc. I even tried to contact Robyn via PM....mail box full.
The 'comments closed' has been appearing prior to the new format. I am also in the printing business; error (or sh.t) does happen!
Trust that the air is cleared.
