well done to garrick who warned us punters on backing igugu wen she had so much against her.these bookies are just too smart for the punters.

They certainly went like the clappers the first part. But what I noticed with trepidation was how hyped up Igugu was at the starting gate. She was fresh to put it mildly. I'm not surprised she faded in the last 2 furlongs and I noticed the jockey gave up on her about then and let her finish as she liked. No point hammering her when it was clear she couldn't go on to win.

If I'm any judge (and I make no great claims) she will actually need one more race before she is ready to race seriously. What do you think?

All champions overcome adversities. Either a kak ride or something wrong with the horse physically or mentally.... I'm gonna still back her in her next race only because she is Igugu but I'm feelin sad thinking her Dubai future is omenous...

I've said it before and I will say it again
Despite he's ability the Belgium cowboy is a liability.
I was shot down in flames when I had a moan about Wyatt Soumillion
What makes a top jockey is the one that makes the least amount of mistakes, because they all mess up at some stage.
Hanagan over the Belgium all day long

What's interesting is that if you read de Kock's comments on his website he clearly liked Mushreq best of the trio in that race, and he was spot on. The other two he thought were OK but no enthusiasm, and as for Igugu, he practically sent out an Early Warning that she wasn't ready. The Kook knows his oats!

I don't think it was a Kak ride by Soumillion, Igugu loves racing handy and he rode to instructions-i can promise dt..I much rather he took her2 the front and she faded(in need of her run) than sat on the fence and got boxed 4 a run... Dn we wudve lost it.lol.
She will return..Mushreq what a win..

I agree but i don't think De Kock has a say in the jockey arrangwment as Wyatt (made me laugh Dave) is on a retainer...

I agree Igugu needed the run,but if your horse isn't a 100% ready and lacks a bit of fitness, why go to the front at a stupid pace.
I'm not talking from the pocket,as I didnt have a bet in the race.
Love to know what MDK thought of the belgiums tactics
