Why must I give you tips? What do I get out of it?

Hey, hey, while we are tipping ... here's my fave: When driving along a road with potholes, do not pick your nose.

ruby your arguments are fraught with contradiction..
1stly you say we hide behind pseudonyms...what about u...u do the same..i am sure your real name isn't ruby clipper
2ndly...chippy..u cant defend ruby by saying that she is only the stable hand...because then her title thread should read...I CAN'T GIVE OUT INFO...'COS MY HANDS ARE TIED..
3RDLY ...WE ALL KNOW that Tara Laing made it abundantly clear that she wont give us information...and we respect that..no issues were made of that....but to say to us "WHATS IN IT FOR ME,IF I GIVE U INFO.'...and that's what is being insinuated in this thread,is blatantly cheap

U are are right Ruby in saying that we should not demand info...but let me tell u about what makes a successful business.....COMMUNICATION AND TRANSPARENCY...go do a Dale Carnegie course in Public relations....that will sought out the difference between your stable being full or being unsuccessful...especially if i am thinking who u really are...then your stable needs more Good Public relations than others..because yours results and strike rates aren't exactly your strong selling point , as oppossed to say a mike de kok stable who have more patrons waiting to get in there that get out.

But like many have said in more ways than 1 in previous threads ,your attitudes and mindset are archaic and worked only in the bad old days...in the current climate..u are branded..DINOSAUR...and u know what happenned to that particular specie

Hell to respond to this would take me longer than the honourable (is that appropriate for a magistrate) Mr Nair took yesterday to explain the reasons for granting Oscar bail; so just a few highlights:

1. Yes in an ideal world we would all like to know the well-being , etc of the runners in a race - but imo it is not up to stables and stable employees to provide that info (the fact that some does, is a credit to them); that being said I can't understand why if the info is provided on a public platform like Twitter or Facebook, why not also post it on here?

2. Asking for tips is not on imo - but then to come on here and moan and groan about it is also not on imo.

In short, (and this also applies to the 'drunk trainer' thread) - please lighten up - there are more serious issues in life

take lowen dennyshenn's stable for example...no one asked him to give us info..he tells us via his link on ABC ,the well being of his horses...a small stable ...go see his hit count on his web site...thats good for his stable..typical example of good public relations...tomorrow if we form a syndicate...he will definatelly feature in our calculations ,amongst other trainers ,in giving him a horse...and why?....good public relations....not good tips

He simply trying to get more horses......by showing his expertise....it is working for him but may not work if you have patrons with a different mindset.....yes the racing dinosaurs still Rome
