Hollywood Early Betting!!!!
12 years 3 months ago
Hi Guys
I see Hollywood is the same as Bettingworld!! Now opening early betting for the public that is awesome!!!
But to see my friends horse get claimed in its moerin is not cool!!!
I mean he payes every month to keep the horse and the other people go steal his price.
O well i guess it is part of horseracing.

I would imagine it must be Seneschal as that is the only horse I can see that has been claimed right down.

I think it's great you can decided , I always take an early bet on my horses and have normally been wrong and only once correct and I again think the 16/1 given on Bud Boy by Hollywood to me as a decent price as I feel the horse can follow up and after my bet the horse it went 12/1
My partners are aware what I think of the horse and the trainer might not always agree as per last race but I am on ew and hope the Boy runs another great race in a very open race against other winners
Good punting

Wezo... ask yourself why he didn't take the price immediately it was available? I have said in other threads that I have no objection to owners taking the early price, but I do object to them letting punters back everything else so their horse drifts before they back it. That to me is just "stealing" money from punters like me and you (its not the bookies who lose!). Of course that may not be the case here, just a good opportunity to highlight my feelings
And be weary of Hwoods early prices, I checked the other day... I can't remember the day or the meeting but at a guess there were a total of about 100 plus runners on the card. At around 10.45am (I think) two had shortened by about 0.25 and again, I think it was, 67 had drifted :S Hwood's early prices are generally a disgrace imho in terms of value and I pity those who have to do their bets before setting off for work etc. I give Hwood a lot of credit for other things but in this regard they get a big (td)

In your opening paragraph, which horse are you referring to.
