Post Office? Out of touch

Hi all I have been really busy with the pub project and probably out of touch with reality over the last few weeks?
However have been checking my po box and it's been empty and thought maybe I had not paid my yearly fees and they were with holding my mail ?
I went to the chemist (where the post office is) or should I say was, they have moved to another centre, when I get there it's closed and boarded up and has been moved again.
In front was a PO caravan and I asked the lady about my mail and she says they have been on strike for 4 weeks!!!!
I am sure this is not breaking news but the backlog must be causing havoc.
