After Tellina and especially Seal winning on Saturday (putting me out of everything), I'm not sure that I should open my mouth (so to speak), but imo there is some real doubts about Ushokoleti staying the 1400 - I think Matchless Flag much better value.

The field does look very thin though and in my opinion only 3 of thie runners can win it.......of which Matchless Flag is one. I am guessing, but the money came last time out and Strydom keeps the ride.....i wonder if he asked to keep the ride in thinking that the horse needs further?

Going to be a day of favourites I'm sure, where they should feature in the winners enclosure about 5 or 6 times on todays meet... 1st 3 races imo are a given... unless a donkey comes along and steals the show...

I'm in the Frodo camp, if Ushokolethi stays then fair enough and well done to connections but Glitter Alley to beat Matchless Flag my exacta and with Pythagoras now out, will be looking again for a bit of possible value for a trifecta

Lots of differences... track, distance, going blah blah but Party Magic did beat Ruby (fav in 3rd) by 7+ lengths over this distance but only managed to beat Forever After just over one length (1450m, very soft)... Ruby no sure thing for me

PK... 4th, 7th, 8th have won since but it was not a strong field imo in E Jet's race. Flag of France, Mon Wally and Swift Fox were the subsequent winners. Others in the field included Gaz Man (2nd by 4l and a long time maiden, 2nd and 4th since), Ad Khan (3rd by 6l and a long time maiden 4th and unplaced since)... FOF was 4th by 7l. I am sure it was the manner in which E Jet won that would be more important but I can't watch and don't remember, sorry!! ... otherwise, hope it helps!

Peekay, fair at best only 3 horses that ran behind him have won, but I was ultra impressed with the way he won, looked classy.
