@Englander, I have no idea why you hate Liverpool, but given to ur response it is a very emotional reason and I respect that..like wise I kind of understand ur feelings towards them as what iv learned is that the level of support and dedication towards football teams in England is way beyond South African understanding imo.. A personal experience: during the 2006 WC I was in England touring with my cricket saide at the mere age of 15. The atmosphere and patriotism that I experienced in England for the English national team was something that took my breathe away..the flags, the shirts, the advertising-all out of ds world. I must confess I ended up supporting England(even though I was a huge Brazilian fan). When Portugal Knocked England out and I walked the streets of London that evening,I promise you it looked at though the country had been through a devastating National Disaster. Every1 crying and holding eachother,etc..I even shed a few tears.lol..but to match the two things up.. As much as u are not from Manchester and you support Man U and Hate Liverpool, I'm sure that its not purely just jumping on the band wagon as many SA supporters do.lol..u have ur reasoning and as much as we may see hate as a strong word and too much towards a football team, and DaveTheFlower will agree with me and you, Football is a very serious matter in ur country and that's the truth

Greg... its done, no wish to look again :( if they did they did but Nani is not entirely free of fault for that type of thing himself so, as with much of this, one has to accept, however dumbfounded I was on this occasion, what goes around comes around... or whatever the right saying is >:D<

Sheza... surprised they were so open, yes we are very patriotic but normally we keep it fairly hidden. Don't go to Argentina if you don't want to see "emotion" in fans!! Though a great experience it must be said, fantastic support and great "songs" :)

Thanks for the "respectful" words, appreciated (tu)

GB it didnt happen,as Engles said they looked shocked..
I agree with Tipster about Liverpool fans respecting good football.
United fans are still jealous of the Champions League record of Liverpool, when they pass it,if they do maybe they will
be less vocal. But I doubt it.
I don't hate any team and support UK sides in Europe,it helps our number quota for places.
Engles hatred of Liverpool must stem from brookside when Terry and Barry stole Engles fashion sense and hair style.

Not trying to rub salt into wounds... but ...

I read threads like this quite often... i.e. everyone goes into a frenzy about an expected result, reaching searing hot, betting, grabbing odds, then KABOOM, wrong result.

Happens often. Use it, don't use it...
