Whilst surfing day two .......... Racing pundit John McCririck has been taken to hospital after falling ill at the Cheltenham Festival, officials at the course have said. His condition is said to be "comfortable". www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21764630

Had the pleasure of interviewing him at Epsom, the famous expression "where's Mike de Kock". Speedy recovery John u are a legend .

Wish him well and a full recovery ... he'll surely be feddup with missing Cheltenham, especially the scintillating win of Sprinter Sacre in the Queen Mother chase this afternoon. Wasn't that something to behold?!!!

True Mav but make no mistake a bit of a lad

One of his cracks was his nick name for his wife was "thrush"!
