Can anyone confirm this?

The Trifecta pool is commingled with the UK. There was a string of upset results at Cheltenham this week. We gained in a sense cos our pool wasnt commingled when they were more than 20 runners.

The payout is correct. Altough the pool is commingled we are still wagering in our rand units. If we were to use exchange rates to get a pound payout our normal 6 rand boxed trifecta with 3 runners will have cost around 90 rands. So each time a punter in the UK takes a boxed trifecta with 3 horses his in fact putting around R90 into the pool cos it cost him 6 pounds. This depends on the exchange rates.

According to Totepool .com mimimum stake for trifecta bet is 10p with a total minimum of 1 pound so it seems that we in S.A. get 1 tenth of the dividend and will never ever scoop the pool but only 10 % of it in the event of a LARGE payout.
