After Clairwood debacle- Telebet

I wanted to check my balance after the Clairwood debacle
Phoned telebet and my balance was less than that after my last bet - I still
had p/a and p6 running
After 3 quieries of my balance i asked to be transferred to a supervisor
Was transferred to call centre
On checking my balance it was R650 more than told by the operator
When i questioned the difference i was told that due to IT problems there would
be a 3 day delay in coordinating the 2 systems
I then asked if i had wanted to take a bet and was told i had no credit,and my bet
was a winning one,what then?
Answer- that would have been unfortunate

Another'' tough sh.ts' punter????

Pity we didn't have a choice when it came to tote operators, those chops would be out of business long time ago...

Yes easy to say when you have the monopoly, you don't need to offer good service, complaints are not dealt with, your pathetic customer service line does not answer there phones, how many times have we asked for the tab scoll on th website to be fixed... i can go on and on about this world class organisation we call phumelela.... Maybe its about time you take your blinkers off and listen to your customers!!!!

Kitkat you should have called your bet and insist that you have taken a bet and if it won you would have got paid out.I did it and was paid for it althought it took TAB 2 weeks to get back to me stating that my money would be in my account.

Good Business practice is good business - Listen to your customers - It is really poor when I get better service from my local Metro Police office (renew a license or pay a fine) then I do from a company that relies on turnover and is traded on the JSE. When you cry that the bookies, lotto and casino's are stealing your money and you provide a poor service then you have only yourself to blame. Still today after years of complaints you still have to ASK for tickets to place HORSE bets while SOCCER betting slips are more plentiful than beggars at intersections. Do they really want Racing to continue or is SOCCER the new Opiate Of The Masses? I could go on about all the ways that punters are shafted but it does not matter. We all know that you read this site Phumelela but do you actually see the big picture or is Steve Blunden just another Bitter Lunatic that NO LONGER SPENDS ONE CENT WITH YOU but rather with Hollywood and Betexchange?

Kitkat are you based in Jhb?? ...why I ask is that the Durban fixed odds (on telebet) refunded me after the race and my balance became available immediately
