Flash i dont have any masters what i do have is common sense. I read SP every week and all i see is negativity. My point is if they feel they can do better why dont they try getting punters back to the races. Why did she bring up the events that are being held? is it not great to see people coming back to races?

?........Optomist let me translate for our friend Flash, who is improving with every post I may add......he thinks you work for the operator........:S......there are many of us old school that blame the PTB for the mess that racing has been led into......the recent efforts of putting on a song and dance are aimed at the newly aquired territory where they are recruiting new souls to line the flagging coffers.......::o

This is what i say to all the non believers that post phumelela from march 2011 to 2012 the on course turnover was X from march 2012 to march 2013 the turnover was up by 100k but between 2011/2012 they had 54 meetings in the western cape and between 2012/2013 they had 47 meetings so 7 less meetings and the turnover was up already by a 100k what would have happened if we had the same meetings year on year. So Phumelela must be doing something right and no i dont work for the operators.

The new broom always sweeps clean.....also very lekker for the Gauteng boys to take the odd weekend trip down to the fairest Cape to press a few palms and smile for those photo oppertunities......yes they are highly motivated, well paid and want you all to pay into their membership coffers.....sometimes I wish I was a 1st class arse licker and my loyalty to the man and the racing machine was unwiavering.....:S

When the CEO of a Company raises the white flag and announces that the open bet and other competition leaves local racing needing government help to survive, you have to be concerned.
If he doesn't believe that he can manage the local product into a positive situation perhaps its time to believe him and make changes!

I've said it before(and it still holds true).................Imagine how piss-poor your management must be if you can't monopolise a monopoly!
