Pirates, regarding the open bet, is there sufficient explanation of what a quartet limit for example of 35,000-1 means? Many people hve been caught out by this. e.g. One guy got 10% of a R280,000 quartet and was only paid out R3,500.

There are some conventions we should be able to rely on...some minimum standards, like the hot water tap in a bath is set furthest away from toddlers reach, that revolving doors in countries revolve the same way, that everything served on a plate is edible, and that bets don't turn out to have lots drawn to determine an outcome.

No need to be rude...yes I was aware of this rule and have seen it displayed in a tote...ie. a match with a non result will be decided by a computer draw...so next time check before making a fool of yourself...I know of many that are aware of this rule

You've just proved you don't understand the limit yourself ... it's an odds limit not a payout limit.
