That newmarket mile should suit him to the ground .
Are there any restrictions to this race ?

Dawn Approach heads 72 2,000 Guineas entries
BY LEWIS PORTEOUS 12:59PM 6 MAR 2013
DAWN APPROACH, as short as 2-1 for the Qipco 2,000 Guineas with Ladbrokes following an unbeaten 2012, was unveiled as one of 72 entries for the first Classic of the season on Wednesday.
Owned by Godolphin and trained by Jim Bolger, Dawn Approach started a six-race unbeaten run in a Curragh maiden just over a year ago before going on to Royal Ascot success and rounding his season off with a brace of Group 1s in the National Stakes and Dewhurst.
Cristoforo Colombo, the subject of ante-post support at the beginning of the week, is among a strong entry from Aidan O'Brien, which also includes impressive Racing Post Trophy winner Kingsbarns.
Ladbrokes narrowly favour the chances of Kingsbarns at 6-1, with Cristoforo Colombo two points bigger at 8-1.
Godolphin are also responsible for ante-post Qipco 1,000 Guineas favourite Certify, who was among 69 entries for the fillies' Classic revealed on Wednesday.
Also unbeaten, she signed off with a fourth success of the season in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket in September and is as short as 6-1 with Ladbrokes and Coral to complete a memorable double for Godolphin.
Just The Judge, a best-priced 10-1 but 6-1 joint-favourite with Coral, is entered to give Charlie Hills a first Classic success in a race his father, Barry, landed twice with Enstone Spark in 1978 and, more recently, Ghanaati in 2009.
Guineas weekend takes place at Newmarket's Rowley Mile on May 4 and 5.

The St James's' Palace Stakes, on Day 1 of Royal Ascot (18th June) looks a likely target, as does the Sussex Stakes, at Glorious Goodwood, both over a mile.

Just realised that the St James's Palace Stakes is also for three-year-olds - so his Southern hemisphere breeding rules him out of that one, as well.

this is the "problem" with nh and sh meeting more regularly now. It would be good if they could work out a way that we could know what is the best 3 year old in the world . The way things stand, SFR cannot run, if he ran he would be "older" in some peoples eyes and younger in others.
For me that straight mile would be right up his ally and he would be a hard horse to beat.

Lockinge at Newbury will probably come too early
Queen Anne at Ascot 1m
Diamond Jubillee 1200m ?
the Lockinge and the Queene Anne he would be running against proper 4yo`s and older horses last two winners of the queen Anne have been Frankel and Canford Cliffs

yes not a year though, 6 months and there in lies the problem that if they can fix it will be great for horses bred everywhere running against each other
