Every few years a small club wins the Champions League. Porto, Chelsea, and Man United to name a few. This year could be Malaga.

Cant see Bayern beating Juventus but cant see Juventus getting through

How shit were those Scottish officials in the Dortmund match. Malaga score an off side goal and 4 players were offside when Dortmund scored there winner and they allow both goals to stand

Duetschland ober alles

This year cant be Malaga and neither can it be Juve

Interesting indeed

2x spain teams into semis
2x german teams into semis

Wonder if it will be
German vs German
Spain vs Spain
Semis

Have those clown officials behind the goals ever got a decision right?

I am sure the organisers would like to see an all German and Spanish semi final so that you avoid having an all German or Spanish final.

I have never seen the officials behind the goal change a thing. Why they are there only UEFA know.

Just like the 4th official. Last light the Dortmund left back (the one with the mask) slapped a Malaga player right in front of the 4th official. The ref booked the Malaga layer for diving. The 4th official should have intervened but did not. If the ref had made the correct decision then the Dortmund player would have been booked and sent off as it would have been his 2nd yellow. Also why was Bender not booked for deliberate hand ball. He too would have been sent off as it would have been his 2nd card.

In the end the better team but it seems an injustice (although the Malaga 2nd goal was marginally offiside) and yet again the official behind the goal did nothing.

I will be going with the draws in both games tonite and PSG to sneak it in extra time to make it one French,
2 Germans and 1 Spainish team in the semi's....B)

Juv vs Bayern 1-1
Bacelona vs PSG 2-2 (PSG to win it in exta time)

Surely its not the official behind the line's job to spot offsides? 8-)

Greg, got the three-two Gala last night, 45s I think, had them to win 4/5 - 1 as well so for a short while was getting a little excited again lol - potential for decent prices in the Juve-BM game tonight... everything (apart from BM being much the better team) says low scoring but one I have a little hunch otherwise for...

it should be especially as the two goal line officials were on the same side of the goal posts as the two linesman. The mind boggles as to why that was the case.

CnC, they have to (try to) be in line with the last defender, you can't guess offsides surely. I agree the linesmen were very poor last night for both controversial goals but I don't think the ref or goal-line guys can be blamed for it. Anyway... :)
