Tell the viewers to record the show. Then when they watch it they can fast forward through the ads and boring bits. And maybe stick a piece of paper where James's hair is.

"I don't think Laff and Goodman come even close to being that bad! "

I realise on a second read, that this could come across badly. Sorry James, Laff. I should have put a smiley with a winking smile after it! ;)

Thanks James for the feedback. My initial comments were slightly tongue in cheek. I guess its difficult to expect a show like ESPN. Horseracing in SA is mainly confined to old men. Somehow we must incorporate modern media. Scotia, i firnly believe that abc is a brand on its own which should be used by the powers that be. There is no site that has the pulse of ordfinary acing fans like the abc!

My burnt, rusty copper two cents.... Winning Ways is a breath of fresh air... I find it very interesting and informative! You can see the hard work done on the teams part so biggups to youll at winning ways!

For those who differ, you dont know your ass from ur elbows and cant appreciate an effort made by those for the greater good of the game although you may have an opinion... Best keep it to your self if it doesn't bring value to what most i believe in this forum want to provide...

Well done winning ways team and youll have my time to watch it all the time...

I sent an SMS to thank James for his comments, I also highlighted on the Paul Lafferty post as people are in the habit of cherry picking the negatives from the site what was wrong with saying eg that they watched the oaks and derby results and video of the races from the States on ABC with no tellytrack coverage,

It's nature to moan about negatives rather than positives but feel our bad press at times is unjustified considering our contribution to racing

There is no public forum (website, publication or tv ie teletrack) that has the pulse of racing. There it cannot be ignored. You can really regulate the views expressed here as it a public forum. You can probably ask members to sign a code of conduct or have a disclaimer!
