If a horse does not feel well, it will not eat up all its food. As a precaution the trainer will scratch the horse incase it is sick or harbouring a virus.

As a matter of interest, will the Horse now have a period of time before he can run again? Or does he just need a Vet certificate to say all is well? Or can he just turn up and race whenever?

Cheers, Jim.

Thanks Martin - I've only owned Dogs prior and you need a vets cert & trail before they can run again.

So once again thanks, Jim.
