i am told that the chief steward will be at the starting stalls today for race 6 and he has dispatched the SAPS to round up all the stray dogs in the area.

He has guaranteed Markus that all is under control.

Rumour has it, the stray dog at Clairwood recently was Pirates', looking for a snack, apparently he never "carves the turkey" with it, nor does he "throw it a bone".
