Training for Fred Crabbia must be a pain in the ass. you damned if you do you damned if you dont.
Nice to have the horses but at know stage can u feel secure that the horse will see out it career with u. even if you are getting results.
i personally think a difficult/unreasonable patron is like a difficult/unreasonable client. You find be letting them take their business elsewhere you thrive. they drain u off all your energy trying to keep them happy and you also effect your service to your other happy existing clients.
Growing your business/yard without them is far safer and less stressful.

suppose its the way you look at it sly,give a horse to a trainer to train an 90% of them treat you like they own it

Spot on !!!! It is my HORSES !!!
We need more owners like the above it keeps trainers on their toes .
