Uk Wednesday
12 years 1 month ago
Morning all.
I posted yesterday that trainer E W Tuer had a 14/1 winner,50/1 2nd and 16/1 4th
That was the first sign of a revival for the yard that had a virus in the yard the whole of last season.
We all know that running horses that are not at the top of their game leads to a dropping handicapp mark.
I backed The Blue Banana 4-20 Catterick with Victor Chandler last night at 16/1
Formerly trained by Brian Meehan, the gelding reached a peak rating of 80 and finished 2nd of 77.
This is its 7th run for Tuer and if he has him back to some sort of form the rating of 63 could be interesting.
Just checked odds this morning and there has been some support, both VC and Bet365 have cut the price.

I fancy Arizona John eachway in the same race.
@ Notts, Fallon to get the meet off with ElHaame and for Scotia the double with Spirit Quartz...
Lingfield Another Cocktail should appreciate the distance and the next Bint Alzain.

Doing a couple of win/place reasonable prices at Notts today to add a bit of interest to main bet.
2.40 MY NAME IS RIO overcame tardy start first run to run on and win well. MOVIESTA is forecast 4/1 but using BAPAK BANGSAWAN as collateral RIO must be worth a little interest @ 16/1
4.40 MIXED MESSAGE ex McMahon winning its last race at CATTERICK over 5f with impression would get further and then winning first run for new stable (small race) over 8f. Obviously odds on fav in this race has every chance but @ 14/1 I think MM worth a tickle.
Good Luck
** could never understand little brittain , always struck me as being a bit of a queer programme
