Relaed thread to expensive horses. What abt horses with big reputations who under achieved. Anyone remember ' hot masala' Backed like a good thing when brought to Clairwood. I also remember for many yearrs the winner of the Gold Medalion at Scottsville never went on win much . Candadito Roy springs to mind.

Does anyone remember the 1997 epsom derby. Entrepreneur trained by Stoute was the the mosr hyped derby favourite which run unplaced i think. Won by the superb naemd Benny the Dip trained by Michael Stoute. I attended the race as I lived in Surrey.
