This is just an after-thought....

There is so much of dislike for horseracing (aligned with gambling), yet, I find no such objections when community newspapers (Couriers, Rising Sun, The Times, etc) not just promote horseracing, but also have dedicated regular columns. Rising Star even sponsors a major race.

Surely, if 'gambling' per se is such a canker viewed with such strong negativity, responsible community members should object to this sort of publicity / content that exposes young and old to a 'vice'?

Or, is that the purpose of 'community newspapers'?

Just an after-thought.... as I mentioned!
